Streets of Paris Photography Tour: click here to book through our partners Light and Land!
Now Fully Booked!
Renowned for its romantic atmosphere and as the birthplace of the street photography genre, Paris was portrayed by the likes of Atget, Lartigue, Doisneau and, most famously, Henri Cartier-Bresson, the father of the “decisive moment” concept.
A brief search of the Paris images from these photography giants will inspire you to pick up your camera and travel to this suggestive city, rediscover its architecture, the cobbled streets and romantic alleyways, the typical cafes and the many bridges, populated by the people that make this capital so incredibly fascinating to photograph.
Considered by many one of the most beautiful cities in the world, we will never be short of subjects and backdrops to create images that will draw the viewer into the Parisian atmosphere.
We will roam the streets of the picturesque neighbourhoods like Montmartre, Le Marais, Belleville, the Latin Quarter. We will visit the Flea Market and Antique Market of Saint Ouen, the Trocadero Gardens and the Champ de Mars, portray the Eiffel Tower, walk along the banks of the Seine.
We will come home with a deep insight of this unique city, with great photographs of the Parisian cafe culture, the local streets and people, the eclectic and multicultural atmosphere.
We will help you to see Paris with the curiosity of a child’s eye. You will see and discover what no tourist can see. You will create memories and images that will leave you wanting to come back and repeat this wonderful experience.
Me and Mark Seymour will guide and help you develop your eye and skills in this challenging but rewarding genre that is street and travel photography. We will be there with you from the start till the end of the day. We will review our and your images each night to see everyone’s improvements day by day and see you create a wonderful portfolio of images you can be proud of.
Accommodation includes the night of 21 May, as the tour will start on the morning of 22 May.
